Rick Hewland

Rick developed an interest in building from helping his civil engineer Dad on sites during the school holidays. In later life though he trained as a Chemical Engineer before spending twenty years in commodity trading in the diesel and propane markets.
In parallel Rick’s property journey got started in the early 2000s letting rooms to lodgers but he soon realised how lucrative the right property investments could be. Largely self-taught in the early years, he was adding bedrooms to properties to add value and also living in his own five-bed HMO as owner-landlord long before some of the big names in property investing started charging thousands to teach these strategies.
The limited company was established in 2017 and with steady effort adding a property or two every year, Rick left the oil industry in 2022 to focus on property full time. This has also allowed him to branch into commercial property, along with being able to spend time getting the youngest member of the team involved too!
